										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The tilt switch operates by a small metal ball that rolls up and down inside the black plastic casing, when the metal ball comes in connect with the metal legs a connection is made, this connection lights up the LED&#8217;s.  So when the switch is tilted the ball rolls back and forward turning the LED&#8217;s on and off.</p>
<p>Generally used in small plush toys to turn the LED&#8217;s off when laid down, similar to the eyes shutting on old porcelain dolls.</p>
